What is Mystic Fate?
Mystic Fate began with a simple idea: what if the worlds we escape into through books, films and our imaginations could become real experiences?
In 2023, we hosted our very first fantasy ball at Edinburgh Castle, bringing together people who shared a love of fantasy, dressing up, storytelling and the extraordinary. What began as an idea has since grown into something much bigger.
Since that first event, we have hosted nine fantasy balls, bringing thousands of people together to step into fantastical worlds, meet like-minded people and create memories that last long after the final dance.
Today, Mystic Fate is about more than hosting fantasy balls. We are building a community around the things that make us feel inspired, connected and a little more magical.
More Than Just Fantasy Events
Since our first ball in Edinburgh in 2023, our vision has continued to grow. Each event has taught us something new, introduced us to incredible people and shown us just how much enthusiasm there is for immersive fantasy experiences in the UK.
From the grand atmosphere of our fantasy balls to experiences inspired by folklore and adventure, we continue to explore new ways to bring imaginative worlds into reality.
Our work includes events such as the Eternal Throne Ball and the Enchanted Rose Ball, alongside Lost Folklore Sessions, which invite guests to become part of their own cinematic stories through fantasy photography inspired by Scotland's landscapes, legends and folklore.
Although each experience has its own identity, they all share the same purpose: to create opportunities for people to escape the ordinary, express themselves and connect through imagination.
We are continually looking for new stories to tell, new worlds to explore and new ways to bring our community together.
Our Team
Our team brings together experience in event planning, marketing, photography, videography and production, combining creative vision with the practical expertise needed to bring our events to life.
From the first spark of an idea to the final details on the day, we work together to create immersive fantasy experiences where storytelling, atmosphere and community come together.
Above all, we share a passion for creating extraordinary experiences that bring people together through a love of fantasy.
